The Domestic Urea Price Fell 6.04% in June

In June, the domestic urea mainstream market price shock fell: urea price fell from $340/ ton at the beginning of the month to $340/ ton at the end of the month, a decline of 6.04%. Month-end prices fell 27.25 per cent from a year earlier.

From the supply side, domestic urea mainstream market prices rose and fell in June.

In June, the price of liquefied natural gas rose by 5.97%, and the price fell by 32.21% year-on-year. Anthracite (wash fast) prices fell slightly, the price fell by $34/ton. Liquid ammonia prices fell sharply, down 10.56%. As a whole, urea upstream products have fallen sharply, and the cost support is insufficient.

From the demand side: agricultural demand weakened, industrial demand is average. Affected by the mentality of buying up and not buying down, urea downstream wait-and-see atmosphere is strong. Agricultural sporadic fertilizer, compound fertilizer, plate, melamine enterprises to start normal, just need to purchase small. Melamine prices fell slightly in June, down 7.37%.

After-market view: the urea market in mid-early July may rise slightly and fluctuate mainly. Upstream liquefied natural gas prices have a downward trend, the low price of anthracite consolidation, cost support is general. Urea daily output is about 160-170,000 tons, and the supply is normal. The north corn and the south rice fertilizer is good, agricultural demand increases, industrial demand is mainly demand. After the market urea or will rise slightly shock.
